We recommend using a fine-toothed blade to get the cleanest finish to your cut edge.What base should I use under the composite decking?Generally, there are 2 main options. Firstly, you can use a concrete base. When doing this, a 100mm thick concrete base is recommended, with a slight slope for drainage to occur. The optimum slope should be around 5mm for every metre.Secondly, you can use a grass or soil base.
